Jack sings and plays piano -- in a group with Aynsley Dunbar on drums, Nick Evans on trombone, and Ray Warleigh on tenor sax!

Recorded in London for the BYG label, this album represents an unsuccessful collaboration between blues musician Champion Jack Dupree and the British ensemble The Aynsley Dunbar Retaliation. The production is marked by a disjointed and occasionally cacophonous sound, with performers appearing to improvise independently rather than cohesively. Despite its lack of musical merit, the recording has been reissued numerous times under various titles and packaging.
