Time Life's AM Gold: Teen Idols of the '70s collection is as saccharine sweet as bowl full of pop rocks. Legitimate classics like the Jackson 5's "ABC," Bay City Rollers' "Saturday Night," and Gilbert O'Sullivan's "Alone Again (Naturally)" help keep the compilation from dissolving into a total shtick, but even with a torrid pre-"Jessie's Girl" Rick Springfield cut and two selections from the Osmonds, this section of shag carpet feels good all over.
