"we've been after each other" is a collaborative project between Montreal-based rapper cropscropscrops and NY producer Vaygrnt, released via Fused Arrow Records. The album explores the thin line between useful solitude and destructive isolation, where one's surroundings begin to shift in shape. The sonic landscape of the record is built on emotional and structural loops, creating the atmosphere of a "shelter" that slowly leaks and eventually gives way.

The project features guest appearances by E L U C I D (of Armand Hammer), Jaythehomie, and Edaya. The record was mixed and mastered by the renowned independent engineer and producer steel tipped dove, ensuring the album's signature textured and raw sound. The cover art was created by the artist birdmelt.
