Hardland - Won't Look Back (1989-1994) [2025]

HARDLAND sometimes sound like a fantastic blend of BADLANDS, THUNDER, and TESLA. "Won't Look Back (1989-1994)" contains all the material the British band ever recorded. The range spans from almost NWOBHM-influenced material with singer Ivan Markovic (ex-VOYAGER) to significantly bluesier songs with frontman Jonny Mellor. The songs from three sessions are all strong compositionally and more than adequately produced. HARDLAND may no longer exist, but their songs live on The "Lost UK Jewels" series sees another interesting issue here.
