AC/DC - Back in Black (50th Anniversary Limited Edition Black and White) (2024) LP

In 2024, an anniversary series dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the band was released.
Two albums were awarded a special limited edition :
Higway to Hell and Back in Black. And it's not just about the multicolored
vinyl. These two editions have a different mastering than the gold discs from
this series. The mastering of the presented edition was done
in the German studio SST GmbH (Schallplatten Schneider Technik GmbH)
formerly known as SST Brüggemann GmbH. They have been famous since the 70s
for their mastering of Credence discs. But old Brüggemann had already retired
in 2016, and his wife Christa had retired even earlier. They handed over their business to their talented
a student of Daniel Krieger. Who, along with his younger brother Theo, continues the tradition of the studio.
And their traditions are great. SST is one of the very few mastering studios in Europe, as far as I know
, that has a fully analog mastering circuit built, where there is no computer for previewing the master disc.
That is, the digital signal that has passed through the DAC before slicing does not undergo secondary forced digitization.
