No doubt this is a very important part of the recorded works of the Miles Davis Quintet. This is the first official release of this legendary performance recorded in Zürich, Switzerland on April 8, 1960. This tour turned out to be part of the last tour that featured John Coltrane as a member of the Miles Davis Quintet. A great, historic recording with never before officially released performances!

Miles Davis is one of the most popular jazz musicians of all time, and this recording features Davis at his best. This performance, in addition to John Coltrane, features Wynton Kelly on piano, Paul Chambers on bass, and Jimmy Cobb on drums.
