UBIKS - Ciudad Sumergida (2020)

Founded in 2017 by Mario Del Castillo and Reinhardt Schulz, the musical project UBIKS emerged from a synthesis of electronic music and progressive rock. Drawing inspiration from Brian Eno’s ambient experiments and the "frippertronics" technique, the members develop multilayered audiovisual landscapes intended for exhibition spaces. The project's conceptual framework is deeply rooted in the philosophy of Philip K. Dick and Zygmunt Bauman’s theories on liquid modernity. UBIKS functions as an evolving sonic construct that dissolves traditional genre boundaries through the experimental manipulation of sound loops and atmospheric layers.
