Giallo Oscuro - La Donna Invisibile (2017)

The Giallo Oscuro musical project is an interdisciplinary synthesis of theater, cinema, and concert performance, inspired by 1960s Italian culture. The core concept revolves around the reimagining of classic pop love songs and the soundtrack aesthetics of masters such as Ennio Morricone and Bruno Nicolai. The project explores the contrast between the outward lightness of romance and underlying darkness, incorporating themes of psychosexual dementia, death, and decadence. The visual component utilizes collage techniques and the legacy of director Lucio Fulci to create a surreal, dreamlike atmosphere. It serves as an attempt to discover authentic art and resist modern cultural mediocrity by reconnecting with the heritage of the past.
