Various Artists - Lost Tracks: Accra to Addis (2026) [Hi-Res]

DJ and curator Afrocat has released the compilation "Lost Tracks: Accra to Addis," following extensive field research in Ghana and Ethiopia. The release showcases rare vintage recordings, including Ethio-jazz, highlife, and gospel, embodying the spirit of African independence and social progress. This project marks a significant milestone for her label, Lost Tracks Records, which focuses on unearthing international funk, disco, and Afro-futurism. As a prominent Black female label owner, Afrocat aims to amplify these cultural narratives through global live events and further archival explorations.
