ARMBRUSTER - Half My House (2026) [Hi-Res]

Armbruster's new project, Half My House, was developed during a week-long residency at the historic Elizabeth Murray farmhouse. Drawing from traditional Irish music influences, the composer employs a kaleidoscopic approach, blending live instrumentation—including fiddle, bouzouki, and mandolin—with ambient field recordings. Collaborating with members of the band Blue Ranger, the work explores the intersection of physical space and creative history, transforming traditional folk into a hypnotic sonic tapestry. The project was made possible through the support of Collar Works and the Troy Foundry Theatre.
