Stoned & Alone is the most mature album to date from Seattle trio The Pharmacy, shaped by a year spent living together in New Orleans — a city whose deep musical roots gave the band both inspiration and the space to grow. In contrast to their rapid-fire debut, the new record takes a more considered and varied approach, featuring string arrangements, vintage soul–tinged backing vocals, and sessions recorded across several studios, including the legendary Seattle venue Soundhouse. Producer Brandon Eggleston helped the group refine their sound while preserving their characteristic punk energy. The result is a punchy, emotionally rich pop record that balances humour, melancholy, and an infectious sense of vitality.
