The Birthday Party marks 20 years since the debut of The Puppini Sisters, a celebration of two decades of vintage glamour, close harmonies, corsets and clever covers. Formed at London’s Trinity College of Music in 2004, the trio have brought vocal fireworks to audiences around the world, earning platinum records, festival stages, television appearances including The Graham Norton Show, Strictly Come Dancing, Royal Variety Show, The One Show with Gary Barlow, and Michael Bublé’s Christmas Special on NBC, and famous fans from Michael Bublé and Cyndi Lauper to even King Charles.
In celebration of their 20th anniversary, the group have announced the album The Birthday Party and reunited with Rosanna Schura. The album features their signature three-part harmonies over smooth jazz guitar, drums and double bass, continuing the sassy, swing rearrangements that transformed songs from all eras on their fastest-selling debut, Betcha Bottom Dollar, which went Top 20 in Britain and spent almost a year on the Billboard chart.
