Niklas Paschburg - L’Écho de Bretagne (2026) [Hi-Res]

Niklas Paschburg’s upcoming EP, "L'Écho de Bretagne," marks the composer's return to solo piano following a period of electronic experimentation. The album was conceived under conditions of complete digital isolation in Brittany, where the artist recorded live improvisations on a century-old grand piano using an analog reel-to-reel recorder. The work is characterized by a minimalist, organic sound and focuses on themes of silence, slowness, and authenticity, intentionally preserving the instrument's natural mechanical noises and performance imperfections as integral parts of the artistic vision.
