Hoover - The Lost Outlaw Album (2026)

Willis David Hoover was a prominent figure in the 1960s outlaw country movement, evolving from the Iowa folk scene to a successful Nashville songwriter for top-tier artists. His primary creative work, recorded in the early 1970s, was presumed permanently lost following the closure of the Outlaw Headquarters studio. Due to the fortuitous rescue of the master tapes from a dumpster in 1977 and a contemporary initiative by Anthology Recordings, this historical material has been restored and released to the public as "The Lost Outlaw Album."
