Simple Things is a return to my source.

In an increasingly restless and noisy world, where taking time has almost become an act of heresy, I felt the need to listen to that small voice deep within me.
A voice that each of us carries inside, one that connects us to life, to the earth, and to one another.

A quiet yet essential voice, inviting us to listen in silence and reminding us that we are still here.

The voice lies more than ever at the heart of this album.
The voices of those I admire — David Linx, Sacha Ley —
and my own as well, unadorned.

Simple Things is also a desire for simplicity — in the melodic lines as much as in the arrangements.
A need for authenticity, beautifully carried by the musicians who accompany me and bring this album to life alongside me.
It is often said that the simplest things are the hardest to achieve, and this could not be more true.

But when, for a fleeting moment, one feels that it has been reached, the source becomes rejuvenating…
and the world can keep on turning.
