Ritchie Pickett - White Horses (The Best of Ritchie Pickett) (2012)

White Horses (The Best of Ritchie Pickett) is a posthumous compilation album by New Zealand country rock musician Ritchie Pickett, released in 2011–2012. Despite the subtitle "The Best of," the disc actually consists of previously unreleased recordings from the mid-1990s.
The material was recorded in the mid-1990s with engineer Simon Lynch but remained shelved for a long time. It was released shortly after the musician's death in March 2011.
Ritchie Pickett (1955–2011) was considered the "wild man" of the New Zealand country music scene. He was known as a charismatic pianist and songwriter whose style combined traditional country with the energy of rock 'n' roll. During his career, he performed in the bands Think and The Inlaws and was a regular guest on the popular TV show That's Country.
