Honoring the “Missing Voices” of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, the album features Lee Gannon’s DERELICT, composed in 1989 at the height of the crisis, which uses extended techniques to musically destroy a pitch set representing the virus. The program pairs these historical perspectives with works by living creators, including Dominic Valadez’s Violet Ridge and Matthew-John Knights’s Call Me Mother.
