The duo of Victoria and Walt, established within The United Isolation Ensemble during the lockdown period, presents a synthesis of traditional English folk and abstract avant-garde. The musical framework is constructed through a combination of multilayered vocals, electronics, and experimental percussion, incorporating homemade instruments crafted from steel and found objects. The project’s work explores melancholic and haunting soundscapes, reinterpreting folk motifs through the prism of isolation.
