The German folk duo TABERNIS has announced their debut album, Seasons of the Dark Hive, set for release on April 24, 2026, via Napalm Records. Utilizing authentic instruments such as bagpipes and davul, the musicians craft a somber medieval atmosphere inspired by history and the theme of apiculture. The album features fifteen tracks, including reinterpretations of classic medieval works by Walther von der Vogelweide and traditional French dance tunes. The band combines instrumental minimalism with mystical whispers and nature sounds, offering listeners an immersive journey into ancient traditions through the lens of dark mysticism.
