Kadenza, led by drummer Mick Okora, was a prominent fixture in the British funk and boogie scene of the early 1980s. The group collaborated with elite musicians of the era, producing successful singles like "Let's Stay Together" and "Let's Do It" that garnered international attention. Although the project faced challenges in releasing a full-length album during its original run, it evolved from traditional funk toward an electronic sound by 1984. This 2026 compilation finally consolidates all of Kadenza’s recorded sessions, incorporating contemporary updates to preserve the legacy of Mick Okora’s contribution to the Brit Funk movement.
