Austin Snell - Colors (2026) [Hi-Res]

Colors is the fourth EP from Georgia-born artist Austin Snell, released May 1, 2026 via River House Artists and Warner Records Nashville. The seven-song project marks a notable creative shift: where earlier work leaned into the hard-edged "grunge country" fusion of rock aggression and country storytelling, Colors deliberately strips things back, presenting the most emotionally raw and unguarded side of Snell to date. Every track was co-written by Snell alongside some of Nashville's most accomplished songwriters, including Tucker Beathard, Laura Veltz, Jimmy Robbins, Dallas Wilson, Larry Fleet, and Jake Mitchell — with production handled primarily by Logan Maggio, and Andrew Baylis producing "Circles."
Thematically, the EP spans a wide emotional range: "Daddy's Eyes" offers a quietly defiant meditation on family and fidelity; "Everything But Okay" addresses mental health with candor; "My Favorite Scar" is a vulnerable confession about living with past wounds; "Have It All" strips romance down to its simplest terms; "You Being You" brings playful, tongue-in-cheek relief to balance the heavier tracks; and the title track "Colors" closes the project as an expansive, prismatic statement of self. Snell himself described the EP as the culmination of years of personal work — on relationships, on trauma, and on his own growth as a person and artist.
At the time of release, Snell had surpassed 360 million career streams and was actively touring across the American West as part of his headline "Home Sweet Hell" tour, launched in April 2026.
