This album is a valuable archival release that reveals Phil Seymour's creative explorations in 1978—the period between the breakup of the Dwight Twilley Band and the beginning of his successful solo career.
The collection combines two independent sessions recorded on opposite sides of the Atlantic.
London Session (tracks 1–5): Recorded under producer Denny Cordell. On these recordings, Seymour was assisted by renowned session guitarist Chris Spedding, who also handled bass. Phil not only sings here but also plays drums and harmonica.
Los Angeles Session (tracks 6–14): Held at Warner Bros. Music Studios under producer Greg Penny. The backing band included members of the power pop band 20/20—Steve Allen and Ron Flint.
