Anders Røine is a central figure in Norwegian folk music, best known as a member of the acclaimed duo Sudan Dudan. His new project, Reolô, is a quartet that combines group vocal incantations with psychedelic instrumental compositions. The band's music features synchronized fiddle unisons performed by the Kjorstad brothers alongside Americana-influenced guitar riffs. Reolô has been compared to The Velvet Underground within the context of traditional music, characterized as an innovative ensemble that captivates listeners through its dynamic and ambiguous sonic aesthetic.
