At RCA's Studio B in New York, the duo Los Indios Tabajaras recorded an album of cinematic themes under the direction of producer Ethel Gabriel. Despite maintaining rigorous professional standards and high self-expectations, the musicians exhibited exceptional efficiency, completing complex tracks at a rate of one per hour. During the session, renowned pianist Van Cliburn visited the studio, where Natalicio Lima showcased his custom-designed 26-fret guitar, the OROZCONATO. The recording process culminated in flawless takes of "Rose Marie" and "Ramona," earning spontaneous acclaim from the technical staff for their technical brilliance and effortless delivery.
