The album "Pochita," released in 1970, marked the beginning of the Peruvian group Sonora Casino de Hugo Macedo's collaboration with the Discos MAG label.
The album's title is dedicated to Lucía 'Pochita' Rivera, the wife of orchestra leader Hugo Macedo. Although she was the vocalist and her image occupied the central spot on the cover, the main male voice on recordings of this period was often Pachito Nalmi.
