Los Kintos - Los Kintos (1970)

"Los Kintos" is the self-titled debut album by the Peruvian group Los Kintos, released in 1970 on the MAG label. This record became a milestone in the history of Peruvian tropical music, fusing classic Cuban rhythms (guaracha, son) with contemporary influences of the time, such as boogaloo and Colombian cumbia.
The record gained international recognition among collectors and lovers of Latin American groove, leading to a later vinyl reissue by the Spanish label Munster Records / Vampisoul.
