Review by Thom Jurek
Country singer, songwriter, producer, and the label boss of Reckless Records in Australia, Bill Chambers has assembled an excellent grab bag of goodies on this 19-track compilation. Collected here are solo studio cuts, live duo tracks with Audrey Auld, songs from her first EP, duets between Auld and Fred Eaglesmith (who isn't in the same league she is vocally -- this track is just plain lame because of his ridiculous intro) and Rick Carey, as well as Auld solo tracks, cover versions, and music from assorted artists on the label's compilations. It's a heady and soulful brew of country, rockabilly, Western swing, and hillbilly blues from the wide-open ranges and honky tonks of Australia. If you dig Audrey Auld and Bill Chambers, together or alone, this set is for you.
