Oxydz - Dust & Soul (2026)

Dust & Soul is a 14-track instrumental project by Oxydz, built around a clear approach: focusing on melody, basslines and sample work. Rooted in classic boom bap, the project draws strong influence from soul and jazz, while maintaining a modern and refined sound.

Sampling plays a central role throughout the project. Each track is constructed from carefully selected samples, shaped to create a consistent identity and a cohesive listening experience. The emphasis is placed on simplicity, balance and musicality, rather than dense or overly processed production.

The drums are intentionally kept in the background to give more space to the melodic elements and bass. This approach allows the tracks to work both as a full listening experience and as a solid foundation for rappers.

Dust & Soul reflects a more mature direction in Oxydz’s work, with a focus on precision, clarity and evolution.
