Sean Dagher - A Health to the Company (2026) [Hi-Res]

Seán Dagher is a Canadian musician who bridges academic and folk traditions as a performer, composer, and artistic director of the Skye Consort ensemble. He gained broad recognition through his maritime shanty soundtrack work for Assassin's Creed 4, collaboration with the Montréal Symphony Orchestra, and compositions for theatre and audiobooks. A recipient of the ADISQ and Opus awards, Dagher presents a new CD compilation drawing on his "Shanty of the Week" project, featuring alternative arrangements with ocean ambience and shruti box accompaniment alongside recent tavern songs. Recordings from 2020–2021 have been left intentionally unedited to preserve their original spontaneity.
