The Very Best of Highgate Wood (2026) is a music album created as part of the new mystical audio series (podcast) "Highgate Wood" from Palimpsest Productions.
Highgate Wood, a fictional band, didn't actually exist in the 1970s. This eight-part rock and roll ghost story audio drama tells the tragic story of the 1970s progressive rock band, which broke up in 1975 after a massive studio fire. The fire claimed the life of keyboardist Corinne, followed by guitarist Peter's insanity and frontman Sean's suicide.
The band's frontman is voiced by real-life blues-rock singer and songwriter Andrew Scotchie.
