Music label BSX Digital is releasing the premiere remastered soundtrack for the 1988 American comedy "Drop-Out Mother" (also known as "Goodbye, Supermom"). The score was composed by the prominent American composer Gerald Fried, who passed away in 2023. Fried began his career scoring Stanley Kubrick's early films before transitioning to a successful Hollywood career, where he composed music for iconic television series such as "Star Trek" and "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.", as well as major television events like the miniseries "Roots", which earned him an Emmy Award. Mastered at Digital Outland, this release serves to preserve Fried's artistic legacy as a seminal figure in the history of film and television music.
