"Sirio 2222" is the debut studio album by the Italian band Il Balletto di Bronzo, released in May 1970 on RCA Italiana.
The album is considered a landmark in early Italian progressive rock (Rock Progressivo Italiano). Unlike their monumental and dark symphonic-progressive masterpiece "Ys" (1972), this album is a blend of heavy psychedelia, hard rock, blues rock, and garage beats, with strong influences from Jimi Hendrix and The Who.
