London-based singer-songwriter Charlie Franklin has announced her self-titled debut EP, set for release on May 27, 2026, and shared its lead single, "Patchwork of Colours." Produced by Natalie Wildgoose, the record features an intimate analogue sound, having been tracked live to tape on the very first takes. Musically blending lilting folk with hints of Americana, the track explores themes of vulnerability and emotional unavailability in relationships. The EP has garnered early backing from platforms like Rough Trade and BBC Introducing Bristol ahead of Franklin's upcoming London live shows.
