Ilhan Saferali - Introducing Ilhan (2026) [Hi-Res]

Canadian trumpeter Ilhan Saferali, currently based in New York City, has released his album "Introducing Ilhan" alongside a quintet of emerging musicians. The release features hard bop interpretations of both classic and rare jazz and pop tunes from the 1950s and 1960s. Stylistically, the record draws heavily from the traditions of the hard bop era, characterized by distinctive solo performances, technical interactions between the horn players, and a solid rhythm section.
