Johnny Ace - Memorial Album (1973)

Memorial Album is the sole, posthumously released full-length studio album by rhythm and blues artist Johnny Ace, issued by Duke Records in 1955 following his sudden death. The compilation aggregates the singer's most successful singles recorded during the early 1950s. The release features the definitive hit "Pledging My Love," which achieved prolonged dominance on the Billboard R&B charts. The initial eight-track, 10-inch LP format was subsequently expanded to a standard twelve-track edition for its 1957 reissue.
