Or Sobre Blau, Ubaldo, Kiran Leonard - Making Friends (2026) [Hi-Res]

Guitarists Andreu G. Serra and Kiran Leonard (operating as Of Sobre Blau) have released 'Making Friends' on the Belgian label STROOM, serving as the follow-up to their 2019 release 'Piri Piri Samplers'. Despite the musicians' geographical separation, the recording took place during six months of weekly sessions in London. Unlike its predecessor, which was constructed from just three short improvisations, this new album is significantly more complex, deep, and multi-instrumental. Stylistically, the record blends experimental folk, Americana, blues, and drone, progressing from lighthearted tracks utilizing found sounds to expansive noise compositions featuring spoken word and dense guitar textures.
