"Out of Our Times" (1967) is the second and most famous full-length album by the Danish folk rock trio Cy, Maia & Robert.

The group consisted of Danish member Maia Aarskov, Englishman Cy Nicklin, and Frenchman Robert Lelievre. Although based in Copenhagen and released on the iconic Danish label Sonet, they performed all their songs in English, focusing on the Anglo-American scene.

While the trio's debut album, "On the Scene" (1966), largely emulated the acoustic sound of American folk bands (in the vein of Peter, Paul & Mary), "Out of Our Times" saw the band take a confident step toward pop folk, baroque pop, and early psychedelic folk rock.

For lovers of rare European folk music from the 1960s, this album is a true gem. The trio's existence was short-lived (they broke up shortly after the album's release), but "Out of Our Times" remains a vibrant monument to the "childhood" of the Danish rock and folk scene, when local musicians sought to reimagine the Californian "summer of love."
