The two-disc live album "La Rosa" captures a live performance by Steve Roach, recorded on December 6, 2025, in a former cathedral in Tucson. The recording was produced without any subsequent studio edits or overdubs. The release features both new compositions and the artist's classic material. The music blends cosmic ambient, multi-dimensional sequences, and ethnic instruments, including the fujara and didgeridoo. The final portion of the performance was executed on the original 1984 Oberheim synthesizer. The album's concept centers on the idea of a "soundcurrent" that integrates different eras, styles, as well as acoustic and electronic sounds into a cohesive whole.
