Musician Thierry Di Filippo, alongside his RISHA quartet, presents the album L’oiseau et la mer. Serving as a continuation of his previous projects "Zarca" and "Electric Zarca," the record seamlessly weaves the artist's Arabic, North African, and Sephardic roots with elements of jazz, rock, and contemporary electronic music. The musical concept is centered on the synergy between the traditional Middle Eastern oud, piano harmonies, and a driving double bass and drums rhythm section. The album offers an eclectic, deeply emotional journey that blends acoustic world music with the intense energy of modern styles, evoking imaginary landscapes and the rich atmosphere of the Mediterranean.
