British musician Alex Smalley, currently based in Germany, has spent 15 years creating abstract and serene compositions released on prominent ambient labels and featured in films and dance performances. His work blends analog, digital, and acoustic sources, exploring themes of nature, technology, parenting, and biotechnology. Smalley's sound design, inspired by electronic music, new age, and world music, aims to manipulate the perception of time and space. Prior to his solo career, the artist was known for his collaborative projects Olan Mill and Pausal.
