The second studio album by the renowned Venezuelan orchestra Super Combo Los Tropicales, released in 1965 on the legendary Discomoda label (catalog number: DCM 459).

This record cemented the Maracaibo-based group's status as one of the leading popularizers of tropical dance music in the Caribbean and South America in the 1960s.

The album was recorded in Caracas at Sonomatrix Studios. It was thanks to this release and its success that vocalists such as Willie Quintero and Nelson Henríquez (the latter later formed his own successful orchestra, Nelson Henríquez y su Combo) gained immense popularity.

The album perfectly captures the atmosphere of Latin American dance clubs of the mid-1960s: the music was recorded practically live in the studio, which gave the release a raw, yet incredibly powerful energy that is still prized today by vinyl collectors and lovers of archival tropical groove.
