"Don't Take My Kindness For A Weakness" is a digital compilation album by the distinguished American soul and blues singer Earl Gaines, released on June 1, 2006, by SnailWorx under license from Bluesland Productions.

This release is an archival collection of 15 tracks. It brings together rare singles and tracks recorded by Gaines in the mid-1960s in Nashville, Tennessee—one of the most vibrant and creatively productive periods of his career.

Earl Gaines was rightfully considered one of Nashville's finest R&B voices. He gained widespread recognition in 1955, performing lead vocals on the breakout hit "It's Love Baby (24 Hours a Day)" with Louis Brooks and His Hi-Toppers.

The 2006 release "Don't Take My Kindness For A Weakness" was based on the historic 1965–1966 sessions at the famed Bradley's Barn studio. Those recordings were produced by William "Hoss" Allen, who created material for Rogana Productions and released it on the rather unusual label for such music, Hanna-Barbera Records (yes, a division of the famous cartoon empire).
