Psychedelic soul collective Family Worship Center has released their second studio album, Only Visiting. Drawing on touring experience and a collaboration with Donnie Emerson, the band has transitioned from the rootsy American rock sound of their earlier work toward 1970s California rock and AM pop influences. The record features warm electric piano tones, rich vocal harmonies, and laid-back rhythms. The visual and conceptual presentation—including marketing themed around rediscovered 1974–1975 archival tapes and an interactive die-cut vinyl jacket—underscores the album's retro aesthetic.
