Peggy Lee - Too Marvelous For Words (2026) [Hi-Res]

Peggy Lee Associates has released Too Marvelous for Words, a 49-track digital collection of restored 1955 archival recordings by American singer Peggy Lee, originally produced for the World Broadcasting System. Archival producer and engineer James Sáez restored and mixed the material using high-quality transfers from original radio transcription discs. Backed by prominent West Coast jazz musicians, these sessions captured Lee in an intimate, non-commercial environment, and half of the performances represent the only studio versions of those songs she ever recorded. The collection features interpretations of iconic standards from the Great American Songbook alongside two of Lee's own original compositions.
