British multi-instrumentalist Archie Ingram, who founded the Stone Anthem project at the age of twelve, presents a new album that blends heavy shoegaze, dream pop, psychedelic textures, and folk ballads. The musician's work develops under the mentorship of iconic alternative scene figures such as Sonic Boom and Simon Scott (Slowdive). The track "Fear," stylized as a Leonard Cohen-esque take on shoegaze, features backing vocals by rising dream-pop artist Radhika. The album's musical concept draws on an eclectic array of influences, ranging from spiritual jazz and country to low-fi rock and primitive pop.
