Rival Cults - Our Gods Need Blood (2026)

The Santa Barbara-based dark rock outfit Rival Cults has announced the release of their new record, "Our Gods Need Blood" (May 2026). Founded in 2020, the band continues to refine its signature sound, which merges traditional gothic aesthetics, commanding baritone vocals, and driving, guitar-heavy rock. Compared to their 2023 debut "Indoctrination," the new release shifts toward a darker, more monumental, and ceremonial atmosphere while firmly retaining its riff-driven foundations.
