An exclusive premiere of the EP "Unstoppable" by Seattle-based band The Jaws Of Brooklyn, released on the Weekend Furlough label. With the arrival of new vocalist Gretchen Lemon, the band has fully solidified its style at the intersection of Motown hooks, Muscle Shoals soul, and Pacific Northwest indie rock. Recorded in Alabama under the direction of producer Ben Tanner and mixed by Andy Park, the seven-track release combines a vintage aesthetic with modern energy. Guitarist Bryan Cohen broke down each track in detail, noting among their inspirations the influence of The Rolling Stones' disco era, Stevie Wonder's groove, '60s pop, and George Harrison's guitar parts.
