Anna Pauline - Lucky To Be Me (2026) [Hi-Res]

Swedish vocalist Anna Pauline is releasing her new album, Lucky To Be Me, via Storyville Records, marking over two decades in her jazz career. Recorded live at Trading 8s Recording Studio, the 10-track release features one original composition alongside nine jazz, theatrical, and cinematic standards by composers such as Leonard Bernstein and Michel Legrand. Under the artistic direction and arrangement of producer John Di Martino, the project blends Nordic jazz sensibilities with the American performance tradition. The album features collaborations with prominent jazz figures, including Randy Brecker and Janis Siegel of The Manhattan Transfer, the latter also serving as Pauline's mentor. Contributions from saxophonist Aaron Heick, trumpeter Freddie Hendricks, and percussionists Khalil Kwame Bell and Vince Cherico add textural richness, with mixing and mastering handled by Dave Darlington at Bass Hit Studio. The album represents a cross-generational celebration of creative connection and jazz storytelling.
