Biggie Tembo & Startled Insects - House of Stone (2026) [Hi-Res]

Bristol Archive Records is releasing the album "House of Stone," a long-lost archival collaboration between the late frontman of the Bhundu Boys, Biggie Tembo, and the Bristol-based collective Startled Insects. Recorded three decades ago, the tracks were salvaged from the vaults by curator Dave Massey and label owner Mike Darby. The release blends Zimbabwean Jit with British drum and bass, featuring contributions from notable local musicians including Will Gregory of Goldfrapp and Rob Merrill of Massive Attack. The album is available on limited gold vinyl and digital platforms, serving as a soaring tribute to Biggie Tembo's musical legacy.
