S.S. Fools - S.S. Fools (1976)

The American band SS Fools was formed in late 1975 as a direct offshoot of the rock group Three Dog Night. Former core members, including drummer Floyd Sneed, bassist Joe Schermie, and guitarist Michael Allsup, teamed up with veteran producer Richard Podolor, lead vocalist Bobby Kimball, guitarist Stan Seymore, and keyboardist Wayne Devillier. Signed to the Columbia Records label, the group released a single self-titled studio album. While the record shared stylistic similarities with their previous band, it showcased a more organic, funkier, and soulful direction. The collective disbanded by the end of the 1970s, leaving behind a dedicated cult following.
